A month after walking the runway and performing at Dolce & Gabbana’s fall 2018 menswear show in Milan, Maluma is getting ready to rock the world again with his forthcoming album F.A.M.E., which drops this spring, and the American leg of his tour, kicking off Mar. 23 in Washington, D.C.
The album’s third single “El Préstamo,” which debuted a few days ago, along with the track’s music video, was inspired by his the Colombian’s singer’s love of Bonnie and Clyde, the infamous couple who travelled the country robbing banks during the Great Depression. Directed by his longtime collaborator, Dominican music video director Jessy Terrero, the video centres around a pair who’ll do anything to stay together, until one of them decides that greater monetary gain is more important than their union and flees with all the cash they’ve stolen.
