One of adidas’ most anticipated shoe releases of the year is undoubtedly the running shoe that features a 3-D printed midsole lattice that acts as the cushioning system. First revealed in an all-white colorway, the adidas 3D Runner was later revealed in an all-black version that was apparently issued to adidas’ Olympic athletes. The highly limited sneaker is equipped with an engineered 3D design that boasts varying densities across the black Primeknit upper. Avoiding any gluing or stitching processes, the 3D Runner also features a 3D-printed heel counter that is directly integrated into the midsole. The shoes drop today and are only available for pick-up at the new adidas NYC flagship store on 5th Ave. as well as in London and Tokyo for an MSRP of $333.
